“ The Smashburger was great. Reminded me of burgers my grandmother used to make putting the bun on the grill while the hamburger was cooking. Yes, it’s good. Many different types of burgers and yes, it’s a smash burger. The meat is hanging off by one to 2 inches around the bun it cannot be 5.4 ounce burgers as advertised. It was lovely. I will be back for the burgers a couple in my party had barbecue because it was Friday and Saturday, which is when they have it available. the pork and macaroni dish my granddaughter said was great my son-in-law had it brisket. He said it was melt in your mouth tender, but thought the seasoning could have been a little better. I will tell you the burger was the best I’ve had in years. ”

“ Hands down the best BBQ we have found here in sunny side Florida! The brisket is sliced to order and it’s always nice and juicy. The ribs fall off the bone and is spiced just right. I’m not a bean girlie but the barbecue baked beans here are fantastic. Real GOOD barbecue doesn’t need sauce! Enjoy the meat as is, it’s THAT GOOD. But they have awesome in-house sauces if you are feeling adventurous. Throat puncher is my favorite! ”

“ I have been following Mouthhole on social media since before they had a brick and mortar location, I was so excited today when we wanted to grab lunch between Venice and Bradenton and had our rescue dog Dolly with us. This was the perfect spot! The food was even better than we hoped for, my daughter had the fire in the hole smash burger with fresh jalepenos and Monterey Jack cheese, her lips were burning and it was worth every bite, those potato/fry things are something I have never had and I wonder where they’ve been all my life! I had the bbq bowl with the brisket and pulled pork, with slaw, and the skull cornbread...it was the best bbq I have had in FL, we will definitely be back to try their cheesesteaks, my Chicago family has been on their recent visit and proclaimed them to be divine! Service was perfect! We sat outside, got a complimentary water cup for Dolly, and we will be looking forward to our next visit! This is the real deal, really great food! ”
